So how do we go about it?

  • Step one: Understand the current Situation

    What is it really about? Recognizing where you are or where you want to be

    There are two types: ‘away from’ something (overcoming obstacles) and ‘towards’ something (achieving goals)

  • Step two: Define the goal and the required steps

    Obstacles are also our patterns

    Patterns that we have shaped and cultivated for years and that make life difficult for us

    A roadmap helps us to navigate through the journey and understand where we stand

  • Step three: Embark, Adjust & Achieve

    The first step is only the beginning. Consistent action leads to success and whenever a roadblock shows up, measure need to be taken to pass on to the next step.

    One step at a time and constantly improving. Consistency is the key.

Gain pleasure and avoid pain

These are the two forces that determine whether we take action or not. We all strive for more pleasure and at the same time want to avoid pain. Our behavior is directly linked to these two phenomenons. While some are more focused to improve their lives while gaining pleasure, others may be more worried about not being in pain. If we understand this and make conscious decisions, the quality of our lives will strongly improve.

I would like to achieve a specific Goal  

What is my goal? How much do I want to achieve this goal? What am I prepared to do to achieve it? What intermediate steps are there? What resources do I need to achieve this goal? Is there anything preventing me from achieving this goal? What is my attitude?

I want to overcome a certain  Obstacle

This is about letting go of patterns and characteristics that are no longer needed. What is it really about? Why is this happening to me? Why do I attract these situations? Recognizing the cause of the problem is an important part of this.

Each person and situation is treated individually

How a coaching session proceeds depends on the different circumstances. Instead of implementing a fixed program, it is more about recognizing the person and their situation. This flexibility to ‘go with what is’ allows the coach to work in an individualized way, to take signals and obstacles into account and to optimize the course of the coaching. The question ‘what is it really about’ is always at the forefront.

Intuition

With a specially trained intuition, it is often possible to recognize more quickly what the real problem is and how to arrive at a satisfactory solution. Intuition can be used before, during or after a coaching/counseling session. A lot of knowledge and wisdom is hidden in the subconscious - becoming aware of this knowledge can bring about significant steps.
